I Love Disney - Aladdin

Question: Is it possible that aladdin sane is a sequel to rise and fall of ziggy stardust and the spiders from mars?

It's just a dumb theory I have. When Ziggy kills himself at the end of Rise and Fall he is magically metamorphosed into Aladdin Sane. The new album then consists of Aladdin Sane attempting to recover his memory of who he is. Is this a contorted theory? Best answer will be chosen.

It's always been obvious that Aladdin Sane was taking over where Ziggy left off, but your theory's a little far-fetched. Then again, David Bowie himself is pretty far-fetched. He described the album as " "Ziggy goes to America, " so maybe you're onto something.

Well, in a way you aint to far off the mark. Bowie has constantly re-invented himself. After this came The Thin White Duke & many others.
